It’s already been a week since I helped John on Riverside Drive in Manhattan replace the paper roller on his HP LaserJet Pro printer. Now, it’s time to shift gears and get MarcB IT ready for its debut at a street festival!
I received official approval this past week from the event’s promotion company, and I’ve been preparing in earnest. Over the last few weeks, I’ve invested in all the essentials: a table, branded tablecloth, signage, and two comfortable padded chairs.
Just today, I picked up pea gravel from The Home Depot to fill four sandbags that will anchor and stabilize my soon-to-arrive 10×10 pop-up tent — customized with the MarcB IT logo, of course.
The tent is expected to arrive about a week from now — well ahead of the big day: Nyack’s famous street fair on Sunday, July 13.
For the past two months, I’ve been focused on refining my Google Ads campaign. But with summer in full swing, it’s the perfect time to complement that online strategy with some in-person, community-based outreach.
I’m excited to meet and chat with anyone who stops by the MarcB IT booth. With my tablecloth and foam board on full display, visitors will get a clear idea of what MarcB IT is all about — friendly, local tech support that comes to you.
